I was trying too hard to get ahead…
I pushed myself back…
Got comfortable…
Seeing dollar signs…
The green that legally blinds me…
The thing that legally binds me…
To an unconstitutional contract…
Yes I'm ahead for now…
BUT…
Even though I'm years ahead of my peers…
In a few years they'll be decades ahead of me…
In order for me to stay competitive…
I have to give them something to compete with…
